BEGINNER'S
CLASSES

$35 all inclusive for basic kit. Class Fee $25

Learn to make a gorgeous
single strand necklace similar to the one pictured as well as
matching earrings. The techniques covered include learning to
connect the beading wire (tiger tail) to the clasp using crimp
beads, as well as how to make a basic loop to connect the earring
pin (headpin) to the earring hooks. Basic design and colour tips
are also covered. You get to take home your creations along with
your “certificate of completion” and basic instruction
booklet.

WEDNESDAY 26th (6-9pm) or SAT 29th November(1:30-4:30pm) "Mexican summer" - Gemstone Bracelet with Charms or Handmade Beads with Charms 
A very popular style of bracelet created using large gemstone nuggets (or handmade beads if you chooose) with loads of Swarovski & Czech crystal charms threaded in between ! It is finished with a sterling silver or 14k gold fill toggle for a very classy finish! The class will focus on the wrapped loop technique and you will get plenty of practice!. The kit will come in a variety of colours so you will be spoiled for choice as usual. Suitable for intermediate to advanced. CLASS FEE $25 and KIT $55 (Gems) or approx. $80 (Handmade Beads - depending on the set price)
WEDNESDAY 3rd December (6-9pm) or SAT 6th December(1:30-4:30pm) "Tied in knots" - Knotted necklace with gems / pearls & / or handmade beads
Learn to knot using quality silk thread and traditional methods of attaching the clasp! The kit will include a selection of semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls (A grade) and a beautiful sterling silver or
14k gold fill clasp. You have the choice of adding in handmade glass beads for a unique style. Suitable for intermediate to advanced.CLASS FEE $25 and KIT $75 + Handmade Beads (optional) - depending on the set price)
WEDNESDAY 10th December (6-9pm) or SAT 13th December(1:30-4:30pm) "Caged Pearls" - Chainmaille Bracelet by Penny Heath
Using lots & lots of jump rings all joined together in the technique known as "chainmaille", but with a twist to include a row of pearls or a row of crystals through the middle. The kit will include Swarovski crystal pearls or crystals and a beautiful sterling silver or
14k gold fill clasp. You have the choice of using either double plated silver / gold or sterling silver rings . Suitable for intermediate to advanced.

WEDNESDAY 17th December (6-9pm) or SAT 20th December(1:30-4:30pm) "Crystal Vine" - Wirework necklace with drop pendant
Learn to shape artistic wire into the form of a pearl & crystal encrusted vine with a stunning Swarovski crystal drop pendant as a feature. The kit will include freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and a matching sterling silver or
14k gold fill clasp. You will have the usual choice of different coloured pearls & wire for a completely unique finish. Suitable for intermediate to
advanced.
