CLASSES

Saturday Morning -10am - 12:30pm:

all inclusive for basic kit. Class Fee $25 - Kits from $10.
Learn
to make a gorgeous single strand necklace as well as matching
earrings. The techniques covered include learning to connect the
beading wire (tiger tail) to the clasp using crimp beads, as well as
how to make a basic loop to connect the earring pin (headpin) to the
earring hooks. Basic design and colour tips are also covered. You get
to take home your creations in a special organza pouch. Pictured
below is a example of the sort of style available.

"CRYSTAL ANEMONE" and 'CRYSTAL DAISY" WOVEN BRACELETSPresented by local designer and creator of these stunning pieces - JOY AMERY This class will be run over 2 weeks Week 1 - Creating the bracelet with the ribbon Week 2 - Embellishing with crystal components & beads Week 1 - Wednesday 3rd FEBRUARY - 6:00 - 9:00pm OR Saturday 6th FEBRUARY..... AND
Week 2 - Wednesday 10th FEBRUARY - 6:00 - 9:00pm OR Saturday 13th FEBRUARY..... Create this stunning crystal bracelet in either the heavily embellished style of the "Crystal Anemone" (blue / silver version) or the "Crystal Daisy" - Copper / Fireopal. You will have the choice of using the large Swarovski crystal magnetic clasp or a more standard multi-strand toggle or slider clasp. There will be a variety of colour combinations and as always if you have a preference - let us know a week prior to the class. Kit prices range from $39 up to $69 for the large Swarovski crystal magnetic clasp version. CLASS FEE - $25 if only attending 1 class or $40 for 2 classes

Wednesday 17th FEBRUARY - 6:00 - 9:00pm OR Saturday 20th FEBRUARY Sandee will take you through another one of her unique and easy to create bracelets featuring glass pearls, Swarovski crystals and fine Japanese seed beads. As usual, many colour combinations to choose from. Kit prices range from $25 for glass pearl / base metal up to $45 for Swarovski pearl / precious metal combinations. "COSMIC QUEEN" Chainmaille BraceletPresented by our chainmaille expert - PENNY HEATH
Wednesday 24th FEBRUARY - 6:00 - 9:00pm OR Saturday 27th FEBRUARY Let Penny take you on the chainmaille journey with this glamorous Swarovski crystal feature bracelet where you will learn to create the Queens' Mail chain technique out of heavy gauge jump rings. We will have bright silver, black oxide silver, bronze and gold plate rings to choose from with a variety of Cosmic Swarovski feature crystals. Please advise if you are after sterling silver as this needs to be ordered in. Kit prices range from $29 for base metal up to $125 for precious metal rings and clasp. CLASS FEE: $25 - Payable on Booking 
"RING OF ROMANCE" Wirework RingPresented by Monnie
Wednesday 3rd MARCH - 6:00 - 9:00pm OR Saturday 6th MARCH - 1:30pm - 4:30pm Create this cute little wirework ring featuring a heart - shaped freshwater pearl surrounded by a coiled heart shaped frame which wraps around the finger with ease. Learn how to shape the wire and using a ring mandrel create the perfect size for your finger. The pearls come in around 5 different colours so there will be plenty of kits to choose from. Kits range from $18 for base metal up to $39 for precious metal. CLASS FEE: $25 - Payable on Booking 
"FELTED BEAD WORKSHOP"Presented by our handmade bead artist - LIZ DELUCA
This class will be run over 2 weeks Week 1 - Creating the base felt beads Week 2 - Embellishing the felted beads Week 1 - Wednesday 10th MARCH- 6:00 - 9:00pm OR Saturday 13th MARCH..... AND
Week 2 - Wednesday 17th MARCH- 6:00 - 9:00pm OR Saturday 20th MARCH..... Liz will take you through the process of creating your own felted beads using the wet felting process. This will be covered in the first session. The second session will involve learning to embellish them with beads and crystals or by whatever you desire - as you are only limited by your imagination as to the finished product. Liz uses handmade glass bead techniques when embellishing to give proportion and balance to the finished beads. Kits will include enough felt for loads of beads at $10 / bag. You can either bring your own beads for embellishing or buy materials from the shop on the day of the second class. CLASS FEE: $25 - For the 1st class only or $40 for both classes - Payable on Booking
